You’ve probably heard all your friends tell you the horror stories of planning a big, traditional wedding. After doing this for 7 years I have too. And as someone who works in this industry I wanted to offer a form of nuptials that felt low-key, authentic, and fulfilling. All while not breaking anybodies bank.

So you and I are on the same page, if you landed here. You want to figure out how to do a Micro-Wedding.

Lets plan the micro wedding you deserve

What do you do to make your micro wedding feel special?

Now you’re staring into the endless possibilities thinking, “What the hell do we actually DO on our day?” Having complete freedom is both amazing and kinda terrifying.

The good news is; the decision to make it smaller lets you focus on what actually matters—your commitment, your people, and having a damn good time.

That’s the shit I love.

When you boil it down, a micro wedding is going to be a more intimate experience. How you decide to minimize will be entirely up to you. You can make it an urban elopement all the way up to a ‘true’ micro wedding. Its all about what you want, what you can do, and what feels right to you.

YES. No matter the size, I always highly encourage people to invite me to that part of their process. I can provide a ‘template’ for a wedding day as a jumping off point. This can give you a sense of what is important to you, where to cut things that dont align, or how much time you may need.

There are a ton of great venues for intimate weddings, and hidden gems to get some portraits done during your wedding day to help you get the best photos you can. Take a look at my wedding venues blog to get a sense of some places to look into!

This is a hard one to answer. I think the best way for me to answer this is to jump on a call and get an idea of what you are looking for! for a smaller elopement style day, 4 hours at a minimum. For a true micro wedding, you will probably need more coverage.
